Our Executive Board:
Katie Eder is the Founder of Kids Tales. She is 17-years-old and lives in Shorewood, Wisconsin. Katie loves writing and founded Kids Tales to share her passion for writing with other kids. Katie is the youngest person on the International Literacy Association’s 2015 global 30 under 30 list of people under age 30 who are changing global literacy. In her free time, if she is not writing, Katie enjoys acting, playing the piano, and doing crafts.
Estela L. Franca is sixteen and lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She goes to school in Concord, New Hampshire, and has always had a passion for helping others. Kids Tales allowed her to get to know incredible kids in a truly unique environment, being surprised at every moment by the untapped creativity and sheer brilliance of her students. Estela loves debate, politics, and reading, and is a firm believer that every child should have the opportunity to express themselves.
Wesley Graham is eighteen and lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has passion for helping others and loves exposing young minds to creative writing. Wesley loves to play basketball and is currently the founder of two self-started projects, both of which have an emphasis on exposing others to new ideas.
Morgan Kerfeld is eighteen, lives in St. Paul Minnesota, and has a huge passion for helping others. In her free time she enjoys student government and is currently a regional student council president in Minnesota. She also is a competitive diver, golfer, and enjoys volunteering. In the future, Morgan hopes to become a doctor and continue helping others.
Shreya Reddy is sixteen and lives in Detroit, Michigan. She loves all creative writing, especially short stories. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music. She loves working with the Kids Tales teams and is looking forward to all of the workshops.
Chris Scazzero is sixteen and lives in West Harrison, New York right outside New York City. With strong business interests and a dedication to helping others, Chris is passionate about social entrepreneurship. In his free time, he plays a lot of soccer and is a member of the speech and debate team. Chris loves working with Kids Tales and helping kids tell their stories!
